Today was the big day

The day started early and we were full of excitement.  The girls were staying with Dave's family and we knew they were going to have a good time.  A huge thank you to them for their help.  Dave and I arrived at the hospital at 6:00 a.m. to only have the front desk tell us that they did not have us scheduled that day.   Needless to say I was not very happy let her know.  Turns out they just missed our name's on the schedule. UGGG! After that little mix up it was the best delivery experience ever.  By 7:30 I had my epidural and by 11:30 We had our little boy!!!!  It was really the easiest delivery so far.

Colt McClain Christensen was 7lbs 13oz and 21 in. long.  Other than is not breathing episode, which scared us to death, he has been perfect!  I am on cloud nine every time I hold him, look at him, kiss him or even talk about him.  I am still in amazement that he is ours, here and healthy!  I love him and will update more very soon!

Soccer season again!

Savy had her first game last week and won. Wahoo!  She has really improved so much.  Again, I am the mom that can not sit still.  I absolutely love watching her play and get so excited when she is in the mix.  She is so much more aggressive this year.  Dave and laugh because their whole lives we tell them to share, but when soccer starts it is all about take take take! I think Savy is getting the point!

Ladies and the very few gentlemen that read blogs,
We are so excited about the future blog that will soon present itself. Hopefully soon. We bought a new Mac computer and Dave has been trying to teach me how to improve my blogging skills. I have to admit I am not a very good student so it might not be too soon. In the mean time I am really enjoying reading all of my friends thoughts and stories.

Show me those muscles!

During an absolutely freezing day in Missouri, we ventured out side for some sledding. Wyatt was pulling us on the back of his four wheelers. This is a great picture of Dave after he bit the "snow." Burrr!
